Terms and Conditions
Below are my terms and conditions. If you order and book with me, I expect you to abide by them as will I. Please contact me with any questions.
Ordering
Orders must be submitted and approved by the baker two (2) weeks prior to the client's event. Any orders that the baker accepts under two weeks will result in a rush fee of $50.
Deposit
In order to hold your date, a 35% non-refundable deposit is required.
Payments
The remaining balance is due seven (7) days before the scheduled pickup/delivery date. Cash, check, or digital payment are acceptable. If payment is not made, the order will be cancelled.
Pickup
As a licensed New Jersey Cottage Food Operator, I am unable to deliver any baked goods, per 8.24-11.3. Pickup must be scheduled at my residence and only the client herself/himself are allowed to pickup.

Pickup date and time will be discussed and agreed upon by the baker and the client when the deposit is due. This will 100% book your event.
Cancellation
If the client must cancel their order, they must do so eight (8) days prior prior the event in written form. Your creations are crafted with care and take time. If you do not cancel within this time frame, you are responsible for the cost of what has already be made. In case of emergencies, the situation will be handled one on one with the client and baker.

If the baker has to cancel the order, the client's non-refundable deposit will be refunded as services were not rendered.
Refunds
All deposits are non-refundable and are not eligible for refunds, even if the order is cancelled within the cancellation window. If the client has paid in full before the payment deadline and cancelled within the timeframe, they are subject to a refund (excluding the deposit).
Liability
Release
Due to the delicate nature of the products offered, the baker is not liable for any damages caused once the product leaves the baker's possession. Every measure is taken to supply and produce a stable product, however cannot guarantee the structural integrity during transport.

Please always handle your baked goods with great care: transport and display on a flat, well supported surface only. Do not leave your cakes or cupcakes in temperatures above 70 degrees F for extended periods of time.

Refunds due to negligence will not be issued.
